Hyperhidrosis (Excessive sweating)

shutterstock_262691870This is a fairly common problem in around 1% of the UK population, occurring in both men and women of all age groups and can be an acutely embarrassing problem to sufferers. Hyperhidrosis is caused by overactivity of eccrine sweat glands in the skin.

The glands exist in various locations of the body and are generally concentrated in the palms, soles of the feet and under arms. Treatment is highly successful taking approximately 30 minutes and can last from 7 to 12 months.
